In this unit, students will be introduced to the principles and elements of design. This will include an in-depth study of colour and the application of colour in all fields of design. Aesthetics is a key focus of this unit. Semiotics and colour psychology will also be introduced.

ASSESSMENT:
Assessment tasks for this unit will include practical design and teaching resource elements (60%) and written elements (40%) across two distinct assignments
