These course rules and specifications apply to students commencing thecourse in 2010 For students who commenced prior to 2010, the applicable course rules are those from the year of commencement. i.e. students who commenced in 2006 should refer to the 2006 Handbook.
Students choose one of four streams, either Performance, Composition, Orchestral Studies or Instrumental/Vocal Pedagogy, and complete a total of 150% of units for the Master of Music Studies comprising two compulsory core units (50%), four electives (50%) and a further 50% of units according to the schedule for the selected stream. NB: Students intending to apply for the PhD program must complete the 50% Major Research Project unit.
