A master-degree-by-coursework course has been designed for those with a bachelor degree and varying levels of experience and study in Computing. It provides a flexible pathway into advanced studies in Computing.
Admission & Prerequisites
A bachelor degree from an accredited tertiary institution.
Course Objectives
This is an accelerated conversion course for non-computing graduates, with varying levels of computing experience. The main objective is to produce a computer professional with the ability to apply the knowledge in Computer Science and Software Engineering to provide solutions in the workplace.
Career Outcomes
On graduation students are equipped to work as computing professionals possessing a specialised area of knowledge.
Professional Recognition
MIT students are eligible for student membership of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). On completion of the degree and entry into the computing profession, graduates can apply to become full members these bodies.

Students without relevant experience may be required to study up to 8 (qualifying) units (100%).
