Bachelor of Engineering (articulating to the Master of Business Administration)
Admission & Prerequisites
Candidates for the Bachelor of Engineering (articulating to the Master of Business Administration) would be required to satisfy the following:
(FROM BE PROGRAM)
Have successfully completed the first two years of the Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Tasmania; and
Have achieved a 65% average mark in those engineering units.
OR
(FROM OVERSEAS OR OTHER INSTITUTIONS, INTO 3rd YEAR ENGINEERING)
Have successfully completed two years of study with an average mark assessed as equivalent to 70%.
Candidates entering directly from Year 12 would be required to have a TCE score of 90 or above, and to achieve the same 65% average mark over the second year units of Engineering to stay in the program.
Articulation to/from Course
Credit will be given for the first two years of the Bachelor of Engineering degree subject to an average score of 65% in the second year units. A candidate who has completed the subjects normally accounted to be the Third Examination of the Bachelor of Engineering with sufficient merit may be invited by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology on the recommendation of the School of Engineering as a candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Engineering with Honours and may then articulate to the BE(Hons)-MBA program (See code S4S).
