Introduction
This four-year (minimum), 10-year (maximum), internal full-time or part-time course is offered at the Launceston campus.
Admission & Prerequisites
Satisfaction of the University's minimum entry requirements for degree courses plus Satisfactory Achievement result or better in CH856 Chemistry. For students who have not successfully completed the above chemistry subject, the prerequisite will be met if the student successfully completes the appropriate bridging unit as part of the Science Enabling Program. Subject prerequisites apply within the degree.
Course Objectives
The educational objectives of the combined degree are consistent with those of the BAqua and BBus degrees.
Articulation to/from Course
Credit for units included in the schedules for the BAqua and BBus will be awarded to students who transfer to the combined degree. Up to one year of credit for TAFE programs will be awarded for the BAqua component on the same basis as for the single degree.
Articulation arrangements already in place for the BAqua and the BBus will apply to the combined degree.
Professional Recognition
The combined degree is recognised by the professional bodies that have recognised the programs in the BBus. No formal arrangements for professional recognition have been made or are anticipated for the BAqua component.
