Introduction

The University Preparation Program is a flexibly delivered enabling program. The course is designed to provide adult learners with academic learning skills and the confidence and personal skills needed to succeed at University. Successful completion of the program will assist students to gain admission to undergraduate degree courses offered by the University of Tasmania.

Admission & Prerequisites

Students require good basic literacy and numeracy skills. All applications are assessed on a individual basis. Enrolment enquiries should be made directly to the UPP Administrative Officer UPP.Course@utas.edu.au or by phone 6324 3714.

Course Objectives

The UPP provides an opportunity forstudents to revise, upgrade and establish skills relevant to higher education study in the current academic environment.

This course does not attract HECS fees but students may be eligible for Austudy/Abstudy.
