Introduction
Admission & Prerequisites
Possession of the University's basic admission requirements.
International students must provide an IELTS score with an overall Band of 6 and no band less than 5.5; or, a TOEFL score of 550 with a Test of Written English score of no less than 4.5. The test must not be more than 24 months old. Further information can be found under international admissions

Course Objectives
This course aims to:
Provide graduates with a broadly based education to the equivalent of the first two years of a three-year degree. Students wishing to transfer to a full bachelor's degree should check with the relevant faculty office concerning the relevant degree requirements.
Provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to progress, successfully, to a three-year degree.
Recognise the level of study achieved by students who wish to exit prior to completion of a three-year degree program.
Articulation to/from Course
Students who have satisfactorily completed the requirements for the Associate Degree in General Studies may proceed to other award courses of the University. Credit, with the exception of foundation studies, may be granted into other courses of the University for studies completed in this Associate Degree.
Faculty of Business :
Depending on the course of study and the majors chosen, students may not be able to use all of the credit that has been granted, for example, credit for unspecified electives. The status of individual units is usually determined at the time of offer. Students who wish to be considered for credit/advanced standing should complete and sign an application and submit it to the Faculty Office.
